Our Story
Where it all began
The Philippi Vision story began in the summer of 2018, when Florin Lupean and David Murza were volunteering in Ethiopia and encountered deep poverty, children with no access to education, and communities fighting to survive. In the city of Ziway, they found the decaying foundation of a building — once the start of a school, halted after the American missionary who began it passed away.
That moment sparked a conviction they couldn’t shake: to continue what had been started and turn that place into a school for children who have no chance at education. This is how Philippi Vision was born — an association built on faith, responsibility, and the desire to give a generation that deserves more a chance at a better future.
